  We stayed here for the novelty of it. The bar was cool the building is awesome to see. The rooms were very original. We stayed in one of the only rooms with a full bathroom. The room and bedding smelt like smoke very strong. The bed was not very comfortable, but most hotels beds suck. If you can handle that, then the history and novelty is worth it. I think this building is the only on the street that is still used. It's a ghost town around there. The restaurant was closed down indefinitely when we were there, not sure if it is functioning now.

  This is a quaint establishment that harkens back to a simpler time. The food is great, and served in a family style that's excellent for groups of people. Everything is well prepared and makes for a refreshing change.
